Position Summary

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional service and support for analytical instrumentation. You will be responsible for repair, maintenance and performance verification of assigned products, including demo equipment and instruments returned from customers.

Benefits and Compensation

This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 paid holidays and 3 paid floating holidays. Residents of California and Puerto Rico will receive state-mandated sick leave. After one year of employment, you are eligible for a generous short-term disability program with 100% of monthly premiums covered by the company.

Salary : Starting range $75,000 to $77,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. Non-exempt status includes overtime and double-time pay as outlined in the employee handbook. Variable compensation includes an incentive plan (10% of base salary) paid semi-annually, plus a year-end discretionary bonus based on company performance.

Other : This position includes a company car with a fuel card (personal use deduction of $55 per pay) and a company-paid cell phone for business and limited personal use.
