Job Summary :
Our client is seeking a Rheumatologist to work in a Level II Trauma Center serving as the tertiary referral center for people statewide. This unique opportunity offers a diverse patient population, a breathtaking geographical setting, and a cohesive medical team.
Responsibilities :
- Manage outpatients in clinic (8-14 patients per day)
- Handle adult inpatient consults
- Perform joint injections and joint aspirations
- Conduct bedside MSK ultrasound when available
- Participate in six field clinics per year to other regions of Alaska
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
