Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN compact license (Registered Nurse)

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, cardiac surgery, or clinical support roles

Proven experience with scrubbing and open heart procedures in a healthcare setting

Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Green Bay, WI

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and cardiac procedures

Assist with scrubbing and open heart procedures as a key member of the cardiac surgery team

Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in condition

Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safety protocols

Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
