Homeland Security Grant Specialist

Under direction, performs complex administrative duties with respect to the Macomb County's responsibility to fulfill its role as regional fiduciary for homeland security grants. Assists in the coordination and administration of the homeland security grant program. Interacts with federal, state, county, and local stakeholders regarding program guidelines and administration. Coordinates the process of distributing funds to sub-grant recipients and vendors. Assists with the measurement of grant performance measure and reporting .

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or related field
• Previous experience administering Homeland Security Grant programs within an emergency management agency at the federal, state, county or local level
• Previous experience with Smartsheet database management system
