We are looking to fill our part-time Electrician opening, which is located at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, home of the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx.

Job Summary

The part-time electrician will provide coverage for all electrical service needs for the building, including event coverage and maintenance assistance.

Essential Duties

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections throughout the arena.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Support event setups, including primary and auxiliary temporary power
• Set up and take down of basketball scoring equipment
• Setup and take down house spotlights
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to respond to urgent facility issues.
• Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades as directed.

Supervisor Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility

Required Qualifications

Current Maintenance Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Master Electrician State of MN License

Physical Requirements

Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas

Ability to crawl, stoop, and kneel per the job requirements

Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to heights, elevators, darkened arena, around crowds, loud noises, and flashing lights

Continuous standing and walking, including up and down stairs

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly
