American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Laramie, Wyoming.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a surgical unit position requiring an active WY RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital surgical setting
  • Rotating shifts
  • 13-week assignment
  • May provide patient care for perioperative and operative cases
  • Collaborates with healthcare team and delegates tasks to support personnel
  • Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within scope of practice
  • Provides education to patients per individual needs
  • Implements protocols and physician orders appropriately
  • Maintains annual continuing education requirements
  • Ethical and legal accountability required
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement
  • Local candidates accepted

    • Requirements

  • Active, valid WY RN license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Current BLS required or must obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Current ACLS required or must obtain within 6 months of hire if taking call or administering conscious sedation
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
