Health IT Informaticist

A company is looking for a Health IT Informaticist to advance life sciences research and health professions education through informatics.

Key Responsibilities

Apply principles of computer and information science to develop innovative solutions in health informatics

Mentor and supervise team members while working with minimal direction

Create strategic technology plans to enhance implementation and service performance

Required Qualifications

Experience with standards bodies or standards such as SNOMED, CDISC, HL7, or ASCO

Master's degree in Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Health Data Science, or Healthcare Information Systems

Knowledge of semantic engineering methodologies and standards-based health terminology

Ability to apply statistical analysis methods and advanced analytical research techniques

Experience with Veterans Health Administration health record data is preferred
