As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Horizon, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue collection from insurance plans. Your responsibilities will include :

• Ensuring timely receipt of payments from insurance providers
• Identifying and proposing solutions for payment and denial trends
• Performing accounts receivable follow-up and collections, including submitting replacement claims and appeals
• Communicating with insurance representatives and handling payer calls to resolve claim processing issues.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of assigned payer processes and updating documentation as needed
• Leading monthly meetings for assigned payer groups
• Serving as the subject matter expert and team resource for assigned payers
• Assisting with month-end processes including write-offs, AR cleanup, and review of unapplied funds
• Please note that this is not an accounting / finance position.

Compensation Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. This position starts at an hourly rate of $20.75-$21.75. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
