  • Facility Setting : Operating Room (OR) – South Tower, 1st Floor\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Start Date : November 3, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 2, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour days)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680\n
  • Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs\n
  • EMR System : Meditech\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
  • BLS certification required\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
  • Clinical experience in trauma (general, ortho, neuro), ortho spine, neuro, general, GYN, urology, podiatry, bariatrics, vascular, robotics (DaVinci Xi), organ procurement, and plastics\n
  • Strong punctuality, dependability, and flexibility\n
  • Ability to float to Endoscopy as needed\n

    • \n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, maintaining a 1 : 1 patient ratio\n
  • Assist with diverse surgical procedures across all service lines except transplant\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, surgical techs, and first assistants\n
  • Operate advanced surgical equipment and technology, including robotics\n
  • Accurately document patient care and procedures using Meditech EMR\n
  • Participate in call and holiday call rotations as required\n
  • Comply with all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and dress code standards\n
