Due Diligence Underwriter

A company is looking for a Due Diligence Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review mortgage loan files for accuracy and compliance with investor guidelines

Analyze borrower credit profiles and ensure loan documentation meets specific requirements

Execute risk analysis and recommend resolutions for identified deficiencies during the review process

Required Qualifications

5+ years of current experience in underwriting, preferably with Quality Control experience

Minimum 1 year of Due Diligence experience at a mortgage lending institution

Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac guidelines and QM / ATR

Proficiency in Non-QM loan processes and requirements

Ability to work with multiple investor guidelines and overlays
