About the role
Were looking for the first full-time Senior Recruiter on our team to build and scale Counsel Healths recruiting engine. In this role, youll own full-cycle hiring across technical, clinical, and operational teams, helping to shape the companys talent strategy. Youll blend high-velocity execution with long-term strategic thinking : designing scalable processes, building pipelines, and crafting narratives that attract the best talent from healthcare, AI, and high-growth startups.

This is a remote role with the ideal candidate based near our offices in NYC or Boston.
What youll be working on :
Lead full-cycle recruiting across technical, clinical, and operational roles, driving an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing to close.
Partner with leadership and hiring managers to define hiring needs, craft role descriptions, and shape Counsels talent strategy
Build and scale recruiting processes , metrics, and Ashby ATS systems to improve speed, quality, and data integrity
Develop and execute creative sourcing campaigns and employer branding initiatives to attract top 1% talent from healthcare, AI, and high-growth startups
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing market insights and ensuring alignment, communication, and transparency throughout the hiring process
Embed inclusive hiring practices and champion diversity, equity, and representation as core pillars of Counsels growth
Requirements
7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 3+ years in technical recruiting
Proven success hiring across technical, clinical, and ops within high-growth startups
Experience scaling recruiting operations from early-stage to growth-phase organizations
Deep understanding of engineering skill sets and demonstrated success filling roles such as backend, frontend, full-stack, ML / AI, data engineering, and DevOps
Experience designing and optimizing scalable recruiting processes and metrics, emphasizing efficiency and candidate experience
Proficiency with ATS systems, with a strong focus on data integrity and analytics-driven insights
Proven success in building and executing outbound sourcing strategies for niche or senior-level roles
Has acted as a trusted advisor to leadership and hiring teams, showcasing exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Youre a great fit if :

You are experienced recruiting technical roles in product-oriented startup environments, especially at the intersection of AI, data, and healthcare technology
You have expertise in using Ashby ATS and leveraging data-driven reporting for recruiting insights
