About The Position

Shift : Night Shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience. Detox and corrections will be considered. Prefer minimum of 1 year hospital medical experience.

License : Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations

Certifications : BLS – American Heart Association

Must-Have : Strong clinical judgment, ability to manage patient medications, and experience in high-volume care settings

Description :

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Minimum 1 year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience is required.

Detox and corrections experience will be considered.

Prefer nurses with a minimum of 1 year hospital medical experience.

The nurse is responsible for administering medications, conducting patient assessments, and monitoring treatment responses.

The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities also include crisis intervention, patient education, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments are essential.

The nurse plays a key role in ensuring patient safety, supporting recovery, and promoting positive health outcomes.
