Department : Sterile Processing AIP

FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Weekend Days

Pay : $22.14 - $28.78 / hour (based on experience)

Summary :

As a certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will perform essential sterile processing functions, ensuring the safety and quality of medical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment according to IFUs, disassembling items as necessary to select appropriate cleaning methods.
• Execute proper sterilization processes based on IFUs, ensuring all external indicators, filters, and labels are correctly utilized.
• Conduct routine cleaning and sterilizer testing, including biological monitoring, leak testing, and Bowie-Dick tests.
• Document all work using instrument tracking software and paper documentation as required.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to handle tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
