As a Security Officer in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your communication skills will support positive interactions throughout the facility. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and / or medical emergencies when appropriate.Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and maintain a secure environment.What We're Looking For :

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
