About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery required

License : Valid RN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 2 years of RN Labor and Delivery experience
• Float required based on census
• Coverage every other weekend
• Patient ratio of 1 : 2
• No local candidates accepted

Description :

TMC orientation is held twice a month.

AWHONN certification is required within the last 2 years.

This position requires experience with high-risk deliveries and antepartum complications.

Responsibilities include the administration of blood products, episiotomy care, and discharge teaching to parents.

Nurses will assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

Candidates should be proficient in using external and internal fetal monitoring.

Other duties include maintaining central lines and performing triage of obstetrical patients.

Candidates must have experience with breastfeeding support and car seat education.

The unit supports a daily census of 14 patients, with a patient age range of infants to adults.

Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various healthcare teams.

All candidates will be required to work weekends as part of the position responsibilities.

Candidates should have experience using the Epic charting system.

All interested candidates must be prepared to float based on census needs.

Travelers must have only one DUI on record, occurring more than one year ago.

Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated.

Work history including any previous employment with this organization will be sent for rehire status approval.
