Position Summary :
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) with expertise or a strong interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients with balance disorders, vertigo, dizziness, and other vestibular dysfunctions using evidence-based techniques to improve function, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform comprehensive vestibular and balance assessments.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs and goals.Utilize specialized techniques such as Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers, gaze stabilization, and balance retraining exercises.Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment goals, and home exercise programs.Document patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes in accordance with professional and legal standards.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging treatment environment.Stay current with best practices and advances in vestibular rehab through continuing education.Qualifications :
Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current Physical Therapist license in the state of [Insert State].CPR / BLS certification required.Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in vestibular or neurologic rehab preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Commitment to evidence-based care and patient-centered outcomes.Preferred Experience :
Experience treating conditions such as BPPV, vestibular neuritis, Menieres disease, post-concussion syndrome, and postural instability.Certification or continuing education in vestibular rehabilitation (e.g., Emory / Vestibular Rehab Competency Course, APTA courses).Familiarity with EMR systems such as [Insert EMR software, if applicable].
