About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania beginning Nov 4, 2025. This is a 1-day opportunity focused exclusively on eye cases, specifically cataracts and retinas, with a 7a to 3p schedule. Candidates must be skilled in anesthesia for ophthalmologic procedures and possess current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. No new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide anesthesia care for ophthalmologic procedures, including cataract and retina cases

Assess patient status and develop anesthesia care plans tailored to surgical needs

Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response throughout procedures

Ensure patient safety and manage potential complications

Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation

Additional Information

Must hold an active Pennsylvania license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required

No new graduates; prior experience with eye cases preferred
