About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania beginning Nov 4, 2025. This is a 1-day opportunity focused exclusively on eye cases, specifically cataracts and retinas, with a 7a to 3p schedule. Candidates must be skilled in anesthesia for ophthalmologic procedures and possess current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. No new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for ophthalmologic procedures, including cataract and retina cases
  • Assess patient status and develop anesthesia care plans tailored to surgical needs
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response throughout procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and manage potential complications
  • Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation
  • Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Pennsylvania license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • No new graduates; prior experience with eye cases preferred
