Quality Assurance Specialist (Res Hab / QIDP Experience).

We are currently searching for a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist for our Residential Habilitation Program.

Employees working 32 hours or more per week enjoy competitive full-time benefits such as holiday pay, overtime pay, paid time off, personal leaves, health care, and retirement plans. Requirements for Quality Assurance Specialist :

  • Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in the social services field.
  • Has at least 1 year of experience in the social services field and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to pass upon hire a criminal background check.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proof of Car Insurance and good driving history.
  • Ability to obtain upon hire and maintain First Aid / CPR certification.
  • Ability to obtain upon hire and maintain Assistance with Medications Certification.
  • Ability to obtain upon hire and maintain negative Tuberculosis Skin Test Results.
  • Reliable.

Responsibilities include :

  • Monitor Residential Habilitation houses weekly.
  • Write plans of correction for problem areas.
  • Assign persons responsible to make corrections.
  • Follow up with those corrections.
  • Monitor service areas including employee qualifications, training, participant records and programs, provider / participant satisfaction, and participant management information system.
  • Follow the state regulations governing DDA’s and Residential Habilitation.
  • Ensure that RH houses are following state regulations.
  • Ensure that Developmental Concepts, Inc. is providing a safe, least restrictive environment for participants.
  • Conduct a monthly QA meeting of summaries with professionals.
