Shift : 2nd

Hours : 1 : 45 PM-Finish (Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays.)

Job Summary / Job Duties :

• Maintains plant equipment by interpreting shop manuals and schematic drawings and through verbal instruction from supervision / co-workers.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
• Must be able to operate shop equipment such as welders, lathes, grinders, and mills safely and accurately.
• Responsible for maintaining plants boilers, hot water systems, HVAC, refrigeration, chiller systems, fire protection, and building repairs.
• Ability to retain and recall detailed technical information.
• Performs precise measurements and tests.
• Must be able to interpret ladder logic and basic control circuits.
• Works with minimum supervision.
• Works in temperature extremes and high places, climbing ladder, scissor lifts, WAV lifts.
• On occasion, works in flour / ingredient dust.
• Must communicate accurately with co-workers and team members from other departments.
• Submits daily document reports.
• Basic computer knowledge to provide reports and / or data and documentation in various programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, and E-mail.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to ensure open and clear communication between team members, departments and / or customers.
• Follow company policies and programs including but not limited to Safety, HAACP, GMP, SQF.
• Electrical troubleshooting skill sets, use multi meter, change like components.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Work Environment :

Ability to deal with a changing work environment and high-pressure situations. Must be able to work in a team environment.

This position may require overtime as deemed necessary to support operations activities.

Position is contingent on passing Powered Industrial Equipment physical and success completion of licensing requirements.

Candidates will be subject to Electrical Aptitude, PLC and Controls Aptitude, Mechanical Aptitude, and Work Keys Testing.

There will be a 90-day evaluation period to ensure satisfactory performance.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
