Overview
We're looking for a dependable, experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman-Civil Division to lead our excavation projects and keep things running smoothly from start to finish. This is more than just operating equipment; it's about guiding a crew, coordinating with other teams, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest safety standards.
What You'll Do :
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of excavation crews
- Inspect job sites, equipment, and progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to plan project procedures
- Order and track materials and supplies as needed
- Accurately locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures and equipment
- Coordinate work activities with other crews and project stakeholders
- Assign tasks based on crew needs and material requirements
- Train team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies
- Manage project timelines to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
- Maintain equipment service and maintenance logs
- Report any accidents or incidents to management promptly

In accordance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000, based on experience and qualifications.
