Your Role as a Physical Therapist

Provide Classroom Support

Monitor & Track Student Progress

Support Self-Help Skills

Ensure a Safe Learning Environment

Collaborate with Teachers & Familie s - Maintain consistent communication with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for continued support. Work closely with educators and support staff to implement therapeutic interventions within the classroom setting.

Required Qualifications :

Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

Licensed to practice physical therapy in NYS.

Comfortable providing therapeutic services both individually and in group settings.

Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines, including Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and social work.

Flexibility to conduct sessions in various environments, contexts, and social settings, tailored to each student's individualized physical therapy program.
