About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales for Strategic Accounts to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, with a focus on long-term planning and execution, and building strong relationships with various healthcare payer organizations. This role is pivotal to the company's success and requires close collaboration with customer success, clinical, and operations teams to ensure revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and overall business expansion. The VP of Sales will be expected to lead all sales activities, from lead generation to deal execution, and to maintain a deep understanding of the company's solutions and services.
Candidates for this position should have a proven track record of at least 8-10 years in sales, specifically targeting health plans, TPAs, PBMs, and specialty care management organizations. Experience in the healthcare payer space is essential, as is a strong background in consultative selling and the ability to craft and present tailored value propositions. The role demands a motivated self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, who can work both independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor's degree is required, and the candidate should be adept at using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com. The position is remote, and the candidate must be willing to travel as needed.
