Compliance Analyst
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. 2+ years experience in a commensurate compliance role. Expertise with the assimilation of large volumes of raw data and the ability to understand, analyze and present various elements of complex compliance projects and business data reporting for senior management. Expertise in working with spreadsheets, databases and a strong understanding of analytical concepts and data.
Job Summary : Responsible for gathering and monitoring product regulatory compliance-related information and data from various sources. Analyze and normalize information and data to ensure integrity for analysis. Provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance / knowledge of the data and definitions of information that are available for analysis.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :
Nature and Scope : Works in compliance with established procedures and / or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing / incomplete information and inconsistencies / anomalies in routine research / data.
Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and / or supervisor. May provide general guidance / direction to or train junior level support personnel.
Work Environment : Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience : Typically requires BS / BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS / MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
