Position Overview :
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help children develop essential skills for daily living. This role involves implementing therapy plans, conducting activities, and creating a safe, supportive environment that fosters growth and independence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in delivering individualized and group therapy sessions based on OT plans
- Record and maintain accurate session data and progress notes
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain a sensory-friendly environment
- Collaborate with the supervising OT, families, and team members to support treatment goals
Qualifications :
Compensation :
$65,000 – $75,000 annually (flexible based on experience)
