Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 3 years of Neuro ICU experience and active OH or compact license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Neuro ICU within a hospital setting
  • Day / night rotation with 3x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call duties are required
  • Estimated patient ratio of 1 : 1-2
  • Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
  • Uses Epic EHR system
  • Responsible for advanced neurocritical care including telemetry and ventilator management
  • Must be able to float to other units based on need
  • Team-oriented work environment with ongoing collaboration
  • Specific scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA required
  • Experience with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, and intracranial pressure monitoring required
  • Epic EHR experience required
  • Previous travel experience preferred
