The Industrial Safety Specialist will support the space program located in New Orleans, LA.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Support the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) Safety Manager in all aspects of industrial safety administration to include OSHA / Risk management practices and interpreting compliance standards.
• Provide key safety consultations to NASA-MAF SMA, NASA Contractor Safety professionals and commercial tenant leadership.
• Support the Mishap Investigation Program for the Michoud Assembly Facility.

Perform Mishap and Injury investigations, including identification of corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Administer the SafeSuite database by reviewing and approving inspection findings.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED :
