This Executive Administrative Assistant reports to the Vice President of Capture Excellence (CE) for Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) and provides a full range of administrative duties in support of the teams activities as needed, including, but not limited to :
- Works complex calendar scheduling to ensure efficiency and optimal use of the VPs and respective staffs time; manages the VPs schedule to de-conflict and help prioritize meetings based on mission and business needs.
 - Works closely with internal / external staff assistants to schedule meetings and coordinate communication between Executives in a timely and efficient manner.
 - Arranges air travel, hotels, and other transportation and travel needs for domestic and international travel. Prepares expense reports.
 - Schedules domestic and complex, multi-leg and international travel, including demonstrated processing of Visas / Passports.
 - Interfaces with internal executives and high-level customers. Partners and coordinates with the Govt Affairs Mission Area and Functional Administrative Teams.
 - Ensures the VP is prepared for daily and weekly agendas by preparing meeting materials in collaboration with the staff.
 - Demonstrates initiative, discretion and tact in managing email, telephone calls and other requests. Ensures all correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled.
 - Utilizes computer and standard desktop software to access LM systems, compose correspondence, memos, reports, create spreadsheets and presentation charts; ensures finished documents are proofread.
 - Assures administrative detail on all projects : updates and statuses delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines. Pursues opportunities to change or lean-out processes / approaches.
 - Builds knowledge of the Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) organization in LMS and its goals and objectives, including a firm grasp of S&BD operations and business practices.
 - Performs additional special assignments as required in support of the CE team.
 - Assists the team with the assembly of the electronic and paper documentation for renewals, contracts, membership fees, variations and all other types of submissions.
 
Basic Qualifications :
Recent and demonstrated experience in executive protocol and providing administrative support to Executive-level clients, and the ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments with a proactive, approachable, customer-focused attitude.Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external customers, clients and vendors.Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), and the ability to coordinate complex travel arrangements, populate and reconcile expense reports, and manage budgets.Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; is proactive, flexible and takes initiative.Demonstrated proficiency in meeting technology such as VTC, Skype, audio and web conferencing.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion, with a TS / SCI clearance (required) and the experience to operate effectively in classified environment.Desired Skills :
Prior experience as an executive assistant in government and / or government contractor organizations.Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new skills, develop nuanced understanding of critical stakeholders and priorities and to apply situational leadership; continuous improvement mindset.Performs with attention to detail, with skill in project planning / management and project coordination experience.Experience with Lockheed Martin (LM) tools (Concur, STARS, Salesforce, Box / Slack, TIPS, Procure-to-Pay, Horizon, SAP, Visit LM, etc.), policies and procedures.Internet research skills at an advanced level of administrative competency.Multi-tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $59,000 - $113,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees : accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
