Maritime Litigation Attorney (3+ years) - New Orleans, LA

Our client works with some of the most high profile companies in the off-shore energy and maritime industries including ExxonMobil, BP and Kinder Morgan.

Role Overview

  • Can you manage a caseload of civil litigation files from inception through trial?
  • Can you draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests?
  • Can you take and defend depositions?
  • Can you represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings?

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Maritime, admiralty and energy litigation experience is a plus
  • Juris Doctorate is REQUIRED
  • Admitted to practice law in Louisiana
