We are currently looking for a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer to support our flagship Human Capital Management platforms, Workforce Now. The platform brings together a variety of HCM components, including talent management, human resource management, benefits administration, time and attendance, and payroll. This is the largest revenue generator for ADP and this role will build and enhance a platform that supports 25 million employees. You will have the opportunity to work on an enterprise-wide scale, working on the latest technologies out there including AI / ML and helping us to continue to lead the way in this marketplace.

You will be a part of two scrum teams focused on integration with another platform (SORA) and people search for WFN (Workforce Now). To thrive in this development career, you'll need to be an expert in Java and have a firm grasp on Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular and / or React. You'll need to be familiar with open-source tools such as Apache KAFKA. Each sprint cycle could have a heavy front-end focus, a heavy back-end focus, or a mix of both, so you'll need experience working with front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies. You strive to learn new technologies and find ways to incorporate what you learn into building your products.

As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer, you will work closely with your team to lead and guide projects to success. You'll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. WHAT YOU'LL DO :

Here's what you can expect on a typical day :

You will work alongside developers and technical leads on a team to design and implement technical solutions to deliver high quality product features, as well as to enhance the performance and reliability of our current solutions.

You must have the ability to learn quickly and apply new technology concepts quickly towards product delivery.

You like to be challenged to deliver right-sized solutions for complex business problems.

You are encouraged to evangelize new ideas within your team as well as across teams and build proof of concept prototypes applying the latest technologies.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE :

You'll have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

Requires 6+ years of experience

Knowledgeable about modern software design, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks, with an understanding of application performance, maintainability, and quality

Experience with Object-Oriented design and development (Java)

Experience with RESTful API development and exposure to API tools like Postman

Experience with modern web development framework (Spring, Angular, React)

Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases

Strong knowledge of different levels of testing

Experience with microservices architecture and containerized deployment a plus

ML / AI experience is a big plus
