We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Backend Developer (Contractor) to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining scalable microservices using Spring Boot , and must have handled applications involving millions of transactions . This is a hands-on technical leadership role, suited for someone with a deep understanding of high-performance backend systems and team guidance.

Required Skills :

12 16 years of experience in Java backend development.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot , Microservices architecture , and RESTful API design .

Solid experience with Junit and test-driven development.

Proven background in handling applications processing millions of transactions daily .

Experience with caching, queuing, and database optimization techniques.

Familiarity with CI / CD, Git, and containerization tools (Docker / Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead teams.
