Overview
A large research university is seeking a Desktop Support to join their team. Your primary duty is to provide endpoint support to faculty and staff by utilizing hardware, software, and troubleshooting expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside laptop and mobile device support in a classroom setting.
- Connection setup and troubleshooting for multiple operating systems (Windows, Mac, and Mobile).
- Email support (Outlook, Gmail).
- Assist with basic A / V technician support for the events team.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience performing onsite deskside support.Experience with BOTH Mac and Windows operating systems.Experience utilizing endpoint management tools and ticketing tools.Strong imaging experience.Nice to have
Experience supporting faculty, staff, affiliates, and guests both in person and remotely in a classroom or university setting.Basic knowledge of AV.Experience setting up AV solutions for town halls, Zoom calls, breakout rooms, and large presentations.Compensation
Base pay range : $30.00 / hr - $35.00 / hr
