Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation position requiring at least one year of acute care experience and a current state license.

Responsibilities

  • Work primarily in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with occasional coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab
  • Day shifts with multiple schedule options including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 4x9s with a half day
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexible start and end times
  • On-call rotation required every 7 weeks for coverage as needed
  • Holiday coverage is rotated, with one holiday required per year
  • Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with lab coat required for attire
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records; prior Epic experience required
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Must participate in on-call and rotated holiday coverage
  • No local travelers accepted due to a 70 mile radius rule
  • Work attire must follow unit guidelines for Caribbean blue or khakis with a lab coat

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active state physical therapy license required (license required if applicable)
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation hospital preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
