Position : Medical Assistant / Patient Support Assistant
Location : Lake Bluff, IL
Full Time / Part Time : Full Time
Hours : Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri : 7 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm
Wed : OFF

What you will do :
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patient
- Verify insurances
- Greet patients and escort them to exam room
- Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
- Provide front office support as needed
- Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
- Phlebotomy and injections may be required
What you will need :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not requiredCertification : CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not requiredExperience : One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
