The Opportunity

Monstro is hiring a VP of Product to lead the product organization and define how intelligence, design, and technology come together to shape the future of modern banking. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for setting product strategy, driving execution, and delivering transformative user experiences across both consumer and institutional products.

You'll work closely with the Founder and COO to define Monstro's product vision, ensuring every feature and release ladders up to our mission of democratizing access to high-quality financial insight. You'll partner across engineering, design, and business leadership to translate big ideas into clear, measurable outcomes and build a team and operating system that can execute with speed and precision.

This is a greenfield opportunity. Monstro's platform is both deep and wide, with no direct competitors. It's transformational by design - combining AI, financial services, and user empowerment in a way that has never been done before. You'll have the rare chance to shape an entirely new category from the ground up.

As Monstro's first dedicated product leader, you'll own the roadmap while also building the foundation for a world-class product organization. This is a role for a true builder—someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with ownership, and is energized by creating something category-defining from zero.

Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

Define and communicate a bold, AI-first product vision that aligns with Monstro's mission.

Balance long-term innovation with short-term impact—driving measurable outcomes at every stage.

Execution & Delivery

Partner with engineering and design to ship high-quality products at startup speed.

Establish systems, processes, and rituals that drive visibility, clarity, and accountability.

AI-Driven Experiences

Collaborate with AI and data teams to turn complex intelligence into simple, actionable experiences.

Champion personalization, automation, and human-centric design powered by AI.

B2B & B2C Leadership

Build differentiated products that deliver value to both everyday consumers and global financial institutions.

Lead the development of tools and insights that strengthen Monstro's B2B2C advantage.

Metrics & Impact

Define and own success metrics across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.

Team Building & Leadership

Build, lead, and scale a world-class product team.

Mentor talent and create clear paths for growth within the product organization.

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ in senior leadership roles.

Proven record of shipping 0→1 products and scaling them to broad adoption.

Deep understanding of AI, personalization, and data-powered experiences.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to align executives and inspire teams.
