Warehouse Associate - 3rd Shift

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate on the 3rd shift. This position involves working independently to manage various warehouse tasks, including operating forklifts and ensuring efficient inventory handling. We offer opportunities to learn multiple roles and skills, promoting from within to roles such as shipping and receiving clerks.

Responsibilities

• Offload trucks and manage inventory using forklift proficiency, especially electric sit-down models.
• Use RF Scanner to accurately track and manage inventory.
• Re-palletize and ensure correct product delivery by performing necessary calculations.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to manage inventory efficiently.
• Label products, wrap pallets, and perform put away tasks.
• Use a safety blade to cut jars as needed.
• Deliver raw materials to production lines and ensure the condition of materials and finished products are maintained.
• Execute the Master Sanitation Schedule to keep the work environment clean and organized.
• Assist in all areas of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and inventory projects.
• Print labels and handle paperwork for production lines.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and communicate any unresolved issues.
• Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Work Environment

The 3rd shift runs from 9 : 30 PM to 6 : 00 AM. The warehouse is English-speaking, and a flexible training schedule is available. The team structure includes 6 people on the 1st shift and 1 person on the 2nd shift. Employees are expected to operate forklifts and handle inventory in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety regulations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
