Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 20252026 academic year in a K12 school setting located in Monroe, NY. This part-time contract role involves working 21 hours per week over three days, serving both preschool and school-aged students within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy services addressing speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and applicable educational standards
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student progress and success
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, offering professional recommendations
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and compliance requirements
- Facilitate generalization of communication skills across various educational and social contexts
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institutionCurrent or eligible New York State SLP licenseASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be consideredFamiliarity with CSE processes and Department of Education requirements preferredPrevious school-based or pediatric experience highly desirableExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsBenefits :
