Accounts Payable Associate

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Coding invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
• Handle vendor correspondence via phone or email
• Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices
• Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Purchase Order Requisition
• Assign New Job Numbers per Company Workflow Process and Procedure
• Work with Controller on Assigned Tasks
• Support Accounting Department as Necessary
• Other Duties as Necessary and Assigned
