Locum Tenens Opportunity : Emergency Medicine Physician Near Cloquet, MN We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated locum tenens physician specializing in Emergency Medicine for an ongoing opportunity near Cloquet, MN. This is an excellent chance to join a newly established emergency department that opened in 2020, providing top-notch care to patients in a supportive and well-resourced environment. Position Details : Specialty : Emergency Medicine Start Date : ASAP End Date : Ongoing Reason for Coverage : Due to recent resignations and parental leave, there is an urgent need for additional coverage. Provider Type : Physician Request Type : Locum Tenens Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Practice Setting : Outpatient Scheduling & Shifts : Shift Length : 8-hour shifts (12-hour shifts are not available). Patient Load : Approximately 1-2 patients per hour. Holidays Covered : New Year's Day 4th of July Memorial Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Additional Support : Full support from specialists, mental health professionals, a designated trauma team, registered nurses (RNs), and an in-house pharmacy. Requirements : Board Certification : Physicians must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. Licensure : Must be licensed in Minnesota or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Hospital Privileges : Required, with temporary privileges available if necessary. Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days. Certifications Required : No additional certifications (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS) are required.
