We are a transportation company looking to hire a dependable diesel mechanic to service our

• fleet of tractors and trailers (trailers are hoppers, pneumatics, & walking floors)
• . The successful candidate will need to be able to work on everything from tires to engines.
• Computer diagnostic experience required. We use Premium Tech Tools, Davie 4, ESA, Bendix, and Wabco. We are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of the listed software.

• Responsibilities will include
• Repairs and required preventive maintenance of trailers
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Requirements / Qualifications :
• Experience in semi-truck and trailer PMs and repairs
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Preferred that you own your own tools, but not required.

• Minimum Skills and Qualifications :
• Must be self-motivated and a team player with the ability to communicate with shop coworkers, drivers and dispatch team.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
• Compensation :
• We are on a weekly pay schedule. _
• Compensation is dependent on experience.
• Job Type : Full-time Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturdays 8-12, ability to work overtime on occasion.

• Required education :
• High school or equivalent
• Required experience :
• 2 years diesel mechanic with computer diagnostic (preferred )
• Experience with emission systems.
• Experience with Premium Tech Tool, Davie 4, ESA, Bendix and Wabco.
