Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements :
Responsibilities :
Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric patients (including neonates through age 25) in a high-volume Level I pediatric trauma center.Treat a wide range of pediatric emergencies including respiratory, GI, psychiatric, neurological, trauma, and infectious conditions.Respond to pediatric codes internally (self-run).Work in a 30-bed pediatric ER with ED tech support (1 tech per nurse, plus triage techs).Support peak seasonal demand (especially winter).Utilize fast track and designated triage areas.No floating or call required.Requirements :
Licensure : Active CA RN license (no pending or temporary)Experience : Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience (Pediatric ED preferred)Certifications (Required) : BLS, ACLS, PALS, MABTravel Experience : Not requiredWeekend Availability : RequiredReferences : Two recent (within 1 year), supervisor-level references requiredCOVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious exemptions accepted)Required Skills :
