Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Sonographer Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Cardiac Sonographer Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x18-Hour ( (8 : 00 am - 04 : 30 pm) Location : Watertown, NY Qualifications & Requirements : Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography. Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology or medical imaging, with specific training in Cardiac Sonography. Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proficient in reading and communicating effectively in English. Experience with department-specific training and familiarity with major medical sonography equipment, including manufacturer-specific hardware and software. Ability to adhere to on-call requirements. Competent in computer usage, including word processing. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to make independent decisions. Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently under deadlines. Exhibits professional maturity, integrity, confidentiality, and flexibility. Able to work effectively under stress and adapt to new responsibilities. Registered or eligible for registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current BCLS certification required. Maintains all required state and federal licenses and registries.
