About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This role begins on Nov 24, 2025, and features a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. The Nurse Practitioner will handle acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent non-emergent conditions across all patient ages, using Meditech EHR to manage care.

Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and infections.Perform basic procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage (I&D), wound care, and abscess management.Order, interpret, and act on diagnostics including labs, X-rays, and EKGs.Prescribe medications and manage short-term treatment plans.Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff for necessary patient referrals or transfers.Educate patients and families on follow-up care and the appropriate use of urgent care services.Maintain thorough electronic medical records and adhere to state regulations and hospital protocols.Additional Information
Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Experience with Meditech EHR preferredPrevious experience in urgent care, emergency, or high-volume primary care settings is highly desirable.Strong adaptability and communication skills are essential.Benefits
