Security Officer Wage : $19.05 / hour Must have a valid MI driver's license. Primary Function : Protect and safeguard company property and interests and present a positive first contact image. Perform many different duties in pursuit of the general purpose and assignment which shall include but not be limited to the following typical duties :

• Ascertain the identity of all persons entering the premises. Regulate and permit proper ingress and egress of all persons, vehicles, equipment and goods. Prevent improper movements designed to deprive the Company of goods or services.
• Patrol the premises on assigned tours of inspections for the purpose of reporting and eliminating hazardous conditions and actions. Investigate complaints and determine facts of an occurrence necessary for the production of a written or oral report.
• May also inspect fire protection systems and equipment, and oversee burning and welding operations, as required. Review and insure adequate and proper fire equipment is provided for all areas and operations on the premises.
• Provide emergency assistance as circumstances may indicate and perform special assignments representing Company interest.
• Perform related duties as required.

SECURITY OFFICER

I. GENERAL PURPOSE AND FUNCTION : The Security Officer will conduct unarmed foot and / or vehicle patrols (interior and / or exterior), control access and egress, monitor CCTV & alarm systems and complete reports. The Security Officer will deter criminal activity & misconduct and perform other duties as specified in post orders.
