GPD is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer / Designer for our Akron, Cleveland, Independence, OH office locations.

Job Qualifications :

• Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the field of Educational (PK-12 and Higher Ed.), Public Buildings, Healthcare, and Federal.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Technology degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Building power distribution design
• Building Interior / exterior lighting and controls design
• Lighting photometrics
• Generator system design
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit a plus.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, professional writing skills and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite : Excell, Outlook, Word, etc.
• Some travel required for building surveys and construction administration.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
