Combat Medic Specialist

As a Combat Medic Specialist, you’ll administer emergency medical care in the field during both combat and humanitarian situations. Your training will prepare you to serve as a first responder, triaging illnesses and injuries to save lives, similar to a paramedic in the civilian world. You’ll also train other Soldiers in lifesaver / first responder courses and provide care on base while not deployed. Requirements U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

• 17–34 years High School Diploma or GED Must meet qualifications to work in a medical setting Must meet tattoo guidelines No major law violations Training & Certifications 102 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available 10 weeks of Basic Training 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training 101 ASVAB
