Armed Security Officer

• Monitor the premises to identify and prevent signs of intrusion and ensure security of property and personnel
• Patrol randomly or regularly both inside and outside the property to maintain order, respond to suspicious activity, and enforce regulations
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departures of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Investigate disturbances, complaints, and any suspicious activity
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
• Respond to emergency situations to provide medical assistance, evacuate premises, or apprehend suspects following proper procedures
• Carry out enforcement activities such as issuing tickets for traffic violations
• Maintain order and provide crowd control at public events
