New York Licensed Staff Counsel

A company is looking for a Staff Counsel II.

Key Responsibilities

Independently represents the Insured in court and presents witnesses and evidence on litigated claims

Analyzes complex legal issues, conducts legal research, and develops defense strategies

Prepares pleadings, motions, and briefs, and manages all case-related activities

Required Qualifications

New York State Bar licensed attorney in good standing

Knowledge of State laws, local court policies, and procedures

5+ years of relevant practice group litigation experience

Strong legal research and writing skills
