Role Description

This full-time on-site Medical Assistant position is located in Rocklin, CA. As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, managing documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), performing basic lab tests, coordinating referrals, delivering exceptional patient service, including scheduling, and occasional front office coverage. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in promoting a positive patient experience while helping the practice maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with clinical standards. Experience working with Athena is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and understanding of Medical Terminology
• Experience with Medical Office procedures and management
• Strong skills in Patient Care and handling diverse patient needs professionally
• Knowledge of managing and maintaining Medical Records accurately
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Certification in Medical Assisting is preferred
• Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification is beneficial
