We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Worthington, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with expertise in full-cycle payroll and multi-state payroll processes. The role involves managing payroll operations for a large workforce while ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Process full-cycle payroll for over 500 employees, including union payroll and multi-state payroll operations.
- Handle payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Manage payroll tax changes, garnishments, and employee deductions efficiently.
- Update and maintain HRIS payroll systems and databases to reflect employee changes.
- Administer payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Respond to inquiries in the HR inbox, providing resolution and support for payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to verify payroll data and address discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Generate reports and summaries for management review, highlighting payroll metrics and trends.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data and sensitive information.
- Proven experience with full-cycle payroll processes, including union payroll.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-state payroll operations.
- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for addressing employee and management inquiries.
