Quality Technician Hanover Park, IL

Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician documents quality levels by performing a variety of audits to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. The Quality Technician works with Operations to perform root cause analysis and work on problems of a diverse scope.

You will :

• Work first shift (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime throughout the week and / or on weekends / holidays as needed
• Perform water tests and document the results by following written instructions
• Report findings back to Manufacturing Engineer and Lean Manager
• Stand for entire shift of 8 hours, work overtime and weekends (if needed) to meet business demands
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work independently and also with team
• Must be able to identify unsafe conditions and report them to department team leader, supervisor, manager or EHS Coordinator
• Must be able to deal with complexity in a fast pace manufacturing environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
